Arrow Crab
(Stenorhynchus seticornis)
Stenorhynchus Crabs should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork, cracks, caves and crevices for resting or hiding. Generally found hiding among the reefs in caves with rubble during the day as they are generally nocturnal. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications. Stenorhynchus Crabs are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for.
The Arrow Crab is also known as the Yellowline Arrow Crab or Spider Crab. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Arrow Crabs have extremely long legs with females generally being much smaller than the males. Arrow Crabs are opportunistic feeders if insufficient food sources available they may pick at mushrooms, polyps or even small fish. Arrow Crabs can grow to 6".
