It uses its tube feet to gather and transport food to its mouth. When threatened or disturbed, Colochirus Cucumbers have a unique and fascinating defense mechanism. It can expel its internal organs, including its intestines and respiratory trees, as a way to distract predators or escape from potential danger. These organs can be regenerated over time. Colochirus robustus Cucumber may also be known as Yellow Sea Cucumbers. These Cucumbers are sometimes collected for the aquarium trade. They are generally yellow however, the exact shade of yellow can vary, and they may also have lighter or darker markings on their body. These cucumbers can grow up to 8".
