Multicolored Crocea Clam

Multicolored Crocea Clam is also known as the Crocus Clam or Boring Clam as it has the capability to bore into limestone rock in the wild. Crocea Clams shell will be smoother than the maximas. Every clam will have a unique color and pattern however most Crocea Clams will be tan, brown, purple, blue or green. 1st grades will have slightly duller coloration than the Ultra grade Croceas. Multicolored Crocea Clams will have multiple colors with varying shades. Uncommonly seen in the aquarium trade other than cultured. Multicolored Crocea Clams have a thick shell with a tan colored body. Multicolored Crocea Clams are smaller than most other Tridacna Clams and usually only grow to 6".
