Astraea Turbo Snail should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork for grazing. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable based pellets. The Astraea Turbo Snail is also known as the American Star Shell Snail or West Indian Star Snail. Astraea Turbo Snail are very valuable additions to and aquarium as they are very good scavengers of nuisance algae. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Astraea Turbo Snails have a cone shaped shell that is a beautiful olive green color. Astraea Turbo Snails can grow to 2".
