Cerith Snail

Cerithium Snails should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork for grazing as they will help to control diatoms and microalgae. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable based pellets. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications. Cerithium Snails are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for, peaceful and reef safe.
The Cerith Snail is also known as the Cone or Tower Snail. Cerith Snails are very valuable additions to and aquarium as they are very good scavengers of nuisance algae and detritus. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Cerith Snails have a cone shaped shell that is a beautiful black or dark color with tiny white and green spots. Cerith Snails can grow to 1.75".
