Nerite Snail

Nerite Snails should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork for grazing as they will ravenously consume algae. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable based pellets. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications. Nerite Snails are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for, peaceful, reef safe and remail small.
The Nerite Snail is also known as the Spotted Nerite Snail. Nerite Snail are very valuable additions to and aquarium as they are very good scavengers of nuisance algae. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Nerite Snails have a more round shell with a tan shell colored with darker colored stripes, also sometimes seen with a solid color. Nerite Snails can grow to 1".
