Orange Turbo Snail

Turbo Snail should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork for grazing as they will ravenously consume algae. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable based pellets. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications. Turbo Snails are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for, peaceful and reef safe.
The Orange Turbo Snail is also known as the Turbo Grazer, Cateye or Chevron Snail. Orange Turbo Snail are very valuable additions to and aquarium as they are very good scavengers of nuisance algae. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Turbo Snails are generally brown, green and white and they have a more round shaped shell than other Turbo Snails however this variety is more orange in color. Chestnut Turbo Snails can grow to 2".
