Turbo Snail should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork for grazing as they will ravenously consume algae. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable based pellets. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications. Turbo Snails are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for, peaceful and reef safe.
The Zebra Turbo Snail is also known as the Zebra Striped Turbo Snail. Zebra Turbo Snail are very valuable additions to and aquarium as they are very good scavengers of nuisance algae. Commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Zebra Turbo Snails have a turban shaped shell with dark and tan colored stripes. Zebra Turbo Snails can grow to 2".
