Colored Colony Tunicate

(Urochordata sp. on Scleractinia)

Urochordates are primarily marine organisms, found in oceans worldwide. They can inhabit various marine environments, from shallow coastal waters to deep-sea habitats. They are filter feeders, using a mucous net to trap small food particles from the water. It's essential to avoid using copper-based treatments in a tank with invertebrates, as it can harm them. Always follow the recommended guidelines for medication use in marine aquariums.

Urochordata Tunicates are also sometimes known as Colony Tunicates or Sea Squirts. They are not often seen in the aquarium trade. Urochordata Tunicates are typically seen with various colors, including shades of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and brown. They can grow up to almost 12".
